Ingredients
- 200g minced meat (pork, chicken, duck, beef)
- Handful sliced coriander
- Handful mint
- 2 tbsp Megachef Fish Sauce (SKU 425.17)
- 25g sliced red onion
- 1 tbsp toasted rice powder*
- lime juice to taste
- Ground dried chilli to taste
- Lion Brand Jasmine Rice (SKU 100.38)/ Lion Brand Glutinous Rice SKU 100.27
Directions
- Cook mince over medium to low heat until the meat is done.
- Take pan off the heat and add red onion, coriander and mint
- Combine with Megachef Fish Sauce (SKU 425.17), lime, rice powder
- Garnish with dried chilli
- Serve with Lion Brand Jasmine Rice (SKU 100.38) or more traditionally with sticky rice (Lion Brand Glutinous Rice SKU 100.27)
*Toasted rice powder or khao kua is the essential ingredient in Larb. Use half a cup of raw Lion Brand Glutinous Rice (SKU 100.27) and evenly toast rice in pan over medium to low heat. Allow to cool and grind in a mortar and pestle until a fine powder is achieved. Store in an airtight container
